We then went to the Monteverde Frog Pond (Ranario). Again, very impressive. Awesome tour; knowledgeable guide, fluent in English and Spanish, as they all have been.
For the photography, in some exhibits you can use natural lighting.
In others you need someone to shine a flashlight on the frog. I think this is a Glass Tree Frog.

Hmm, I should have been more diligent about remembering the names of all of these frogs...
Costa Rica's Ambassador Frog (the one that appears on all the ads and guides): the Red-Eyed Tree Frog.
The Eager Little Diahatsu Terios: making sure everyone knows you're a tourist. It's funny, you go to these touristy places, and there's nothing but Diahatsu Terios' in different colors parked there!
Back at the hotel, we had leftover pizza, beans and tortillas chips, and drinks that we bought at the little supermercado. We talked about the vacation - completely in awe of all we'd seen so far, camping, and my Tropical Nature book. It had been a beautiful day to do all of what we did. It didn't rain until we were in bed.
